Position- Solutions Manager ( Technical Pre-sales)
The role involves, working closely with the Sales team and assisting the business development team in meeting revenue targets. The candidate should possess the ability to convincingly represent the technical merits of Verint product and solution suites. The pre-sales consulting role involves assuming technical ownership for Verint's offerings in high-value sales situations. Typical responsibilities include:
•Design & Prepare the technical response to Requests for Information / Requests for Proposal / Requests for Quotation from our customers.
•Prepare and hold Product and Solution technical presentations and workshops on all different levels of customer and management.
•Design and demonstration of prototypes/demo scenarios to prospects.
•Understand complete requirements of customer environment and work with System Architects on elements in the proposals.
•Delivers high quality, technical expertise in the pre-sales process to help close sales opportunities with the customers.
Periodic updates to existing customers on new products and solutions.
•Contributing to continuous product development and organisational competitiveness by providing feedback on market requirements.
•Provide inputs to Product Management on new product requirements.
•Interact with Product Development group for customized proposals.

Qualifications/Experience Required
•At least 5-10 years of experience in the IT and/or telecommunications industry, of which at least 2-3 years should have been in a project consulting or technical consulting role.
•Telecom network knowledge and familiarity with the business and operation of telecom carriers (CDMA/GSM/IP Networks).
•Experience in Telecom and Data network operation, network management and consulting or offer generation.
•Domain Knowledge in the area of: Telecom and Data Networking (Data, Fixed line, GSM/CDMA, GPRS, UMTS, ATM, Frame Relay, VoIP network, MPLS).
•Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills.
•Hands-on experience in demonstration and presentation of software applications.
•Being able to work on senior level with excellent communication and presentation skills
•Intercultural experience: cultural sensitivity and experience on a global level
•Basic understanding of UNIX/RDBMS/Windows based applications. Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).

Location- Gurgaon

The position calls for extensive travelling within the country or within the APAC region. Candidates should be willing to travel and should have an innate desire to work in a competitive environment.

Note : Salary will not be a constrain for the right candidate.
